1. On February 25th, the Zimbabwean Ministry of Mines announced an immediate and indefinite suspension of all lithium raw ore and lithium concentrate exports, with restrictions on goods already in transit.

2. Recently, Jiangsu Hengguixin New Materials Co., Ltd. announced the launch of a 36000 ton annual production project for lithium battery negative electrode materials, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027. It is reported that after the project is completed and put into operation, it will effectively increase the market supply of high-performance negative electrode materials.

3. On February 24th, the construction of the second phase of Sichuan Tianhua Times New Energy Lithium Battery Materials project was officially launched. After completion, the project will produce 60000 tons/year of battery grade lithium hydroxide (which can be flexibly converted into 53000 tons/year of battery grade lithium carbonate production) and 60000 tons/year of battery grade lithium carbonate production capacity.

4. Recently, the first domestic methanol single fuel river sea direct ship "Innovation 19" successfully made its maiden voyage, with a capacity of 15000 tons and equipped with domestically produced methanol specific engines. The methanol substitution rate exceeds 90%, and the use of green methanol can reduce CO ₂ emissions by over 90%. This ship is the first batch of 5 methanol powered bow vessels, and the remaining 4 are expected to be put into operation before May 2026, marking a crucial step towards the commercial application of methanol in shipping.

5. Recently, the pile foundation project (Section 1) of Anhui Carbon Xin Technology Co., Ltd.'s alcohol based high-end chemical project, which is under the general contracting of China Chemical Engineering Donghua Company, has started construction. The project mainly includes the construction of a 140000 ton/year formaldehyde plant, a 60000 ton/year acetaldehyde plant, and a 30000 ton/year ethylpyridine alkali plant.

6. The Fluorine Chemical Industry is located in the Shangyu Economic and Technological Development Zone of Hangzhou Bay. As a key strategic project of Sinochem Blue Sky, the fluorine containing high-end fine chemical project of Sinochem Blue Sky has a total investment of 300 million yuan and plans to produce 4000 tons of fluorine containing high-end fine chemicals annually. The project will officially enter the trial production stage from the end of July to early August 2026.

7. Recently, Zibo Junhan Electronics plans to invest 220 million yuan in Yiyuan Chemical Industry Park to build an annual output of 10000 tons of electronic grade halogen-free epoxy resin project, in line with the global trend of halogen-free PCB substitution.

8. On February 25th, some projects of the acrylic ester and high water absorbent resin new material project of Bohai Chemical Company have met the production conditions and will be officially put into operation on February 24th, 2026.

9. On February 25th, the 250000 tons/year carbon dioxide recovery technology renovation project in Zhejiang Province was completed for filing, and the 100 million yuan, 50000 ton/year polyaluminum chloride project was officially announced. Projects in the fields of chemical environmental protection and water treatment raw materials continue to be implemented.
