This upward trend is mainly due to the temporary lack of import cargo, the delay in the arrival of domestic trade cargo to the port, and the continuous shipment of goods, the limited amount of spot circulation resources in the market, and the monthly average price is higher, and traders are pushing up sentiment. According to the data monitored by the business community, the domestic market price of phenol on November 20 was 7887.5 yuan/ton, an increase of 4.54% since November.

Port storage is low, and recently Jiangyin port inventory fluctuates in the range of

1-15,000 tons. From the point of view of domestic trade, the general arrival of

Hengyang inventory, an average of 1 ship/week, so Hengyang library is difficult to

accumulate, Changshu more direct docking downstream production enterprises,

limited circulation, Zhangjiagang inventory is less. After the middle of the year,

the amount of spot resources is tight, and the average price of the contract is high,

which has also become the main driving force to push up.

The overall operating rate of domestic phenol ketone enterprises declined.

Sinopec Mitsui and Qingdao Bay plant short-term parking,

the start level of 7-80%, in addition, Shandong Fuyu phenol has not yet circulated in the market,

the spot supply pressure is not large,

which has become a favorable factor to support the price increase on the supply side.

Later, at the end of November, Changchun Chemical Industry,

Qingdao Bay and Sinopec three well phenol ketone plant resumed and restarted,

the domestic phenol ketone plant is expected to gradually increase the level of operation,

although the supply has increased, but the restart device is also more supporting downstream bisphenol A production,

is expected to have little impact on short-term spot supply.
